  How accurate can the Bible really be?

  how accurate can the bible really be?

  i am losing faith that it is accurate at all.. according to an article i read in our paper today they are now saying in translation there are no english words to match every word...so the scripture that say "peace on earth and goodwill towards all men " should really be " peace on earth to all men of goodwill ".. now if they can screw something that simple up..what else in the bible have they screwed up?.

  Potty training kids and different views...

  when i was growing up, i remember my parents would put those plastic "cover" things over my sisters panties and put those protective sheets on the bed to help them with potty training.

  especially when they were doing great with using the potty on their own during the daytime.. my aunt in texas would beat her kids arses if they wet the bed.

  (now i do not agree with this way).

  Here's what I did with my daughter: To keep her from wetting the bed, I cutoff any drinks at 1 hour before bed time and then made sure she went potty before she went to bed. It worked perfectly. I wet the bed when I was little and my parents' solution was to get me up right before they went to bed (11pm) to go.

  i just read mr. flipper's thread about politics & appointments and began to wonder: what does a ministerial servant do?

  how would one become an ms?

  my hubby is gung-ho, so this might be something he's after, but i need to know more of what it's about so i can look for signs..

  Too funy nvr! He's hooked up with the most annoying elder! Even if the guy wasn't a JW, he'd be annoying as hell. I told hubby that the guy was like a used car salesman, he told the guy, and the guy took it as a compliment! Geez.

  hi, my name is alison and i am having a very hard time to accept what is going on in my life.

  hopefully anyone that can help me can certainly will receive much more from jehovah.. also i find by writing about my story can help other individuals going through the same thing can help make them to make wise decisions in life.... i am 21 years old and my ex boyfriend is 25 years old .

  we were going out for one year and three months which is unfortunate it could not last longer.

  just off the top of my head: cain & abel, the flood, the guy who was going to sacrifice his son (isaac?

  ), the slaughter at jericho, jesus (and that includes torture), and all the death in revelation.

  Good one freeme. As a side note: How disgusting is it that Lot would have given his daughters to the mob? Perhaps he was one of the first JW elders? Maybe a GB member?
